The European Commission has set up an online dispute resolution (ADR) platform for alternative dispute resolution between consumers and traders concerning online sales or service contracts, i.e. those in which the trader or his intermediary offers goods or services on a website or by other electronic means that the consumer orders on the same website or by other electronic means.
